Audit Director
Having studied Economics at Durham University, Rachael trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Smith & Williamson (now Evelyn Partners) in Bristol. She returned to the North East in early 2019 and worked within the audit practice of KPMG in Newcastle before joining Stephenson Coates in March 2021.
Rachael is the Audit Director for Stephenson Coates Audit Limited and looks after all audit and independent examination assignments. Rachael specialises in FRS 102 limited companies audits (small, medium and large) and charity accounts, independent examinations and audits.
In her spare time Rachael enjoys walking her dog, playing tennis and golf, and is a regular park-runner.

HMRC's decision to halt its plans to restrict taxpayer helplines and direct people to online services instead has been met with relief by the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).
